Civil War

South Transportaion

In the south they used lots of boats to get around because of all the rivers. Unlike there Northern enemys they did not have a large rail road sytem. So as a result the north cut of there main rout for supplies by river, The Mississippi River. The south's lack in rail raods was one of the main resons why the south lost the war. They just wern't able to ship men and supplies across the land as fast as the north did.
