Top Three South Military Leaders 

First: Robert E. Lee was a graduate of West Point Academy. By the end of the war he was the commanding general for the Confederacy.

Second: "Stonewall" Jackson was probly the best know Confederate general after general Robert E Lee of course. At the First Battle of Bull run he was given his nick name "Stonewall" for standing like a stone wall in front of union charge.

Third: Albert Sydney was a United states army officer and Texas army genral before the American Civil War. He was killed early in the Civil War at the Battle of Shilo.
